    Nice facility, but frequent staff turnover, underqualified teachers and issue with former director erroded our confidence. Not sure academics were worth the extra cost.

  • Review of "Chestnut Willow" at East Windsor

    I rent a 1 bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor and although I only have been living at Chestnut Willow for about 4 months, I have been happy with my experience so far. The rent is kinda pricey for a 1 bedroom, but average considering the area. The floorplans are spacious and larger than most similarly priced apartments I've seen in the area. The location is close to major roadways like Rt 1, 130, and the NJ Turnpike and it is convenient to get to nearby supermarkets and retailers. The apt was clean, well taken care of, and I think the previous tenant chose to upgrade the kitchen because I have new cabinets and black appliances, compared to the dated kitchen I was shown in the apt next door. If not, you have the option to upgrade for an additional $60/month. The development also put in new carpeting and light fixtures. The walls are pretty soundproof, because there is a family living downstairs and although they have a baby, I can barely hear when it cries. There is a laundry room in the next building with 3 washers and dryers, which is convenient, but I wish there were more machines. The grounds are well kept but there is a lot of greenery around, which leads to an occasional bug or two in my apt. I've seen spiders, crickets, centipedes, and millipedes. Maintenance is pretty quick to respond to service calls - usually they come in 1-2 days. They will let themselves in if nobody is home, but they at least leave a doorhanger with their name and a note. The only complaint I have is that paying your rent is very inconvenient. They don't have online payment and you can't drop off your rent at the rental office. You can only mail it to Hilton Realty's main office in Princeton, or drop it off there in person.
